In this talk show, somewhat misleadingly titled (Dutch for "The last show" [of the day on TV], which it isn't, usually not even close), each season one presenter (or two alternating) receives every evening a number of guests, mainly Flemish celebrities, who have recently been in the spotlights in Flanders (politicians, artists, sports-people etc.), first for a talk about his/her item, then staying on the sofa to interact with the next guests. The tone is playful, it's meant as entertainment rather then information, so guests who show a sense of humor are more likely to be asked again, and due to the show's popularity that's considered flattering and excellent publicity.

The importance of the Atelier as a meeting and working-place for independent or beginning filmmakers is highlighted in Last days of Studio Frans van de Staak a necrology of his films by Kees Hin (2002), which focuses mainly on Van de Staak's non-naturalistic style of directing actors.

Limburg, 1760. The empress of Austria reigns the land and force heavy taxes on the peasants. Many people normally working the land see no other choice but to work in the dangerous mines. The 14 year old Martien Kremers, a peasants son, tries to save his family from ruin and comes up with a plan. After the execution of the plan he needs to do everything to keep it secret. He gets involved with the government, gypsies and a mysterious gang called the Bokkenrijders.
